10 day trip through Hungary
From June 14th to June 24 I’ll go on a trip with 2 good friends to explore Hungary! We started our trip in the Central Station of Amsterdam, as we would travel by train to Vienna, where we will rent a car and eventually end up at Budapest.

Visiting Budapest during the summer is amazing. The city comes alive with vibrant colors and bustling streets, offering countless opportunities for capturing stunning shots. Start the day at the iconic Buda Castle, where panoramic views of the Danube River and the Pest side of the city await. Stroll across the historic Chain Bridge, snapping photos of its intricate design and the majestic Parliament Building in the background.
Esztergom
Nestled along the banks of the Danube River, Esztergom is a charming Hungarian town rich in history and architectural splendor. The jewel in its crown is undoubtedly the Esztergom Basilica, a towering masterpiece that stands as the largest church in Hungary. Visiting this awe-inspiring cathedral is a must for any traveler exploring the region, offering not only a glimpse into Hungary's spiritual and cultural heritage but also breathtaking views from its rooftop.
One of the highlights of visiting the Esztergom Basilica is the opportunity to ascend to the rooftop. The climb is a bit challenging, involving a series of narrow staircases, but the reward at the top is well worth the effort. As you emerge onto the rooftop, you're greeted with a panoramic view that is nothing short of spectacular. The Danube River winds gracefully through the landscape, with the rolling hills of Hungary on one side and the Slovakian countryside on the other. The vista is a photographer's dream, offering a unique perspective on the natural beauty and historical significance of the region.
Budapest at Night
Capturing the Budapest Parliament Building at night is an enchanting experience for any photographer.
